Experience Is The True Teacher
Friday, March 27th, 2009As I add content to this blog I try to capture the essence of manifesting and attracting ideal events and circumstances. But as I’ve said before…
The creation of one’s own reality is a highly experiential process.
In a nutshell this means that it cannot be fully and properly put into written and spoken words. We’re not baking a cake; we’re talking about the guided manifestation of your life.
Since the early days of spiritual teaching most writers and mentors have conceded that spoken/written words simply cannot fully encapsulate the message. Probably the words that come the closest are the poetic verses that stir abstract images within the mind of the reader or listener.
This may not be a popular statement in a world where everyone wants a solution handed to them; especially since most people want this NOW.
Many self development authors would disagree with me, because their egos really want them to believe they can impart their experiences to others through books and lectures. I’ll point out that I love reading and listening to personal development and spiritual growth courses; but as the truly wise teachers know these are only pointers and guides.
You must find your own way, your own methods, and your own truth. So enjoy this blog and many other great resources, but don’t give your power away to any “teacher” - rely primarily on your inner wisdom and on the experiences that mold your life.
