How To Be Truly Free

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

This blog is about abundant living and manifestation/attraction. But these themes are just organized words.

These articles are really about being happy and having the life we want.

I talk a lot about focused intention, visualizing the ideal reality, channeling the subtle life force toward our goals, etc. But what’s even more important than all of this is cultivating the ability to just let go and be free from your desires.

It’s great to know exactly what we want in life. And it’s wonderful to learn to vibrate in alignment with these gifts.

But we should never let these exercises get in the way of living. Once we have done our part, focused our vibration and painted a clear and vivid picture of the life we desire, we need to get back to the joy of living the life we have right now.

This is paradoxical. It can be counterintuitive and it’s always the most difficult thing for people to grasp when they are learning to co-create their life.

But it’s vitally important to our happiness. And it’s the key to being able to consistently manifest the life we desire.

Life happens here in this moment. Right now is our gift of living and being free.

We can and should intend growth and change, but then we need to relax and enjoy the process as it unfolds. We can’t watch the clock and wonder “How come it’s not happening yet?” and if we do we only sabotage our efforts.

Know what you want. Feel it like it’s already here, visualize and affirm, and do everything you feel must be done to direct the essence of life toward the creation of your ideal vision.

And then smile and let go. Allow yourself to relax and be free from the need to change.

When you are held captive by the way you want things to be, you are unable to live in the present moment. And even if you believe things in the now are not as they should be, you have created the current results for a reason; perhaps to learn from the contrast what you prefer.

You and I may never fully know all the “whys” in life. It’s futile and tiring to live constantly demanding an answer.

The ultimate freedom lies in the balance between having joyful desires but being willing to accept even better blessings. Let go of the need for precise results and know the greatest good is working in your favor (as long as you broadcast vibrations of love and abundance) . Be free to live your life today without concern for what is coming tomorrow.

Self Development Just For Losers?

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

I’ve noticed an interesting, somewhat limiting perspective from people who are not actively involved in self-development and/or personal discovery programs and pursuits. The general attitude I see in people who don’t read self-help books, and the sentiment projected by the mainstream/prime time media is…

Only losers and people who are “messed up” need self-help. This kind of book, course, and general content is for people who have something “wrong” with them.

Wow. What a sad, pathetic point of view!

First of all, people who don’t feel they can benefit from self-knowledge and personal development are fooling themselves and contributing to the “dumbing down” of our planet. EVERYONE has work to do in terms of finding out who they are and becoming their ideal self… this is perhaps the whole point of life!

Second, the most successful, happy, and wealthy people on this planet are the biggest market segment for self-help sales volume! Donald Trump, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and every other wildly successful person you can think of all understand the immense value of personal development and actively engage the pursuit of self-improvement.

Like me, you may have friends and relatives who think you’re a cook for spending so much of your time listening to personal improvement audios, reading self help books, watching spiritual DVDs, and so forth. Instead of being irked by these obtuse people, think of ways you can show them by example just how much of a great impact intentional self-discovery and development can have on an individual, family, and community level.

Seriously consider: If everyone took complete responsibility for being their personal best this world would become heaven on earth in many ways!

The power of thought alone can transform our society. And with every individual spirit vibrating at the optimal level we will have the power to manifest the ideal world.

Manifesting Through Your Individuality

Tuesday, October 14th, 2008

I’ve tried for the most part to keep it simple on this blog. There’s just no need to muddy the water with a bunch of confusing rhetoric.

And the great thing about learning to manifest is, if you don’t like or get what another person is trying to teach you, it’s more than fine to make up your own way of doing things. Everything I say is my opinion.

The same is true of other writers, no matterhow famous they might be. Things like happiness and manifestation or law of attraction are highly experiential, meaning everyone will have their own uniqe experience in these areas.

And by being yourself, really embracing who you are and joyfully being different, you’ll create some truly amazing things in your life. We are all part of creation, and I believe we are all meant to express ourselves in different ways throughout the life journey.

So waste no time struggling to bring your way of attracting completely into line with the way I or anyone else say it needs to be done. Use the wisdom of others to find the general direction, and then have great fun filling in the specific details on your own!
